Welp, you get to know anyway! Lucky!
My Labor Day Weekend was actually pretty fun. I got to fit in a lot of much needed Makai time. Mark worked most of the weekend so we got some good Mom/Son bonding in.

Saturday, we took the "big train" (also known as Caltrain) south into Burlingame to get Makai's much needed haircut. Strolling around on the avenue sounded like a pretty good way to spend the sunny afternoon too. :]
This is how his haircut went:
awesome.
But then we got to strolling part, which was much better. And by stroll I mean, stop at the sweet shop and enjoy some gelato :] Sea salt caramel and Dulce de Leche. AMAZING. I don't know if they make it themselves, but I would dare say it may be one of my favorites.
I feel like many of my posts are starting to show my love for ice cream and sweets. *raises hand* SUPER GUILTY.
I blame my mom. My mom did this to me. Apparently I'm doing the same to Makai. Woops :]
Makai just keeps getting bigger and bigger with each passing day. This is terribly cliche, but it all goes by so fast! He has so much personality now, as you can see in the photos above and below. These are his standard faces now.
What a character, right?
So if you read my last post, you know that I was hoping for a very cool, edgy, and hipster looking undercut. The hairstylist apparently had no idea what I as referring to (even though I showed her a picture) and gave him this. It's not terrible except for the straight across bangs. I think it'll look better in a week or two. Then in a month or so, I think we'll be able to achieve the look I was going for.
All in all, the day was good and it was a good start to my weekend. Oh yeah, except that the day ended like so:
*sigh. :]
More of my weekend in the next post!
Makai:
